Campaign Development & UI/UX Redesign
Partnered with One Planet Network, a multi-stakeholder and partner of the UN in sustainable development
Four week team project for a live client
We were tasked with analyzing and tackling current global issues in the Global Strategy for Sustainable Consumption and Production by building a digital and print campaign to promote One Planet Network.
Ask: How can One Planet Network increase visibility of SDG 12?
Solution: A digital redesign, and a consumer centered campaign
My role: Secondary research, creative direction, website design and pitch deck design
After the client briefing, we conducted secondary research to understand the current challenged in the sustainability sector. We found the main issue to be a planetary crisis driven by unsustainable consumption and wasteful production methods. We also discovered that the UN Sustainable Development Goal 12 is the least funded out of the 17 goals and grossly lacks a coherent case for action. Our strategic recommendation included a digital redesign and launching a consumer centered campaign in Paris, France.
Through a comprehensive digital audit, including UX/UI, design and content, we found that the there was a lack of an outlet for consumers to get information on wasteful production and consumption. We also wanted to enhance user experience and improve usability for consumers, making it easy for users to increase sustainability through personal consumption. Our team had a proactive commitment to meeting users needs and aligning One Planet Network’s digital presence with their goals.
We created a brand for a campaign called Sustainably Yours. The aim of the campaign is to promote circular consumption of plastic through sharing personal contributions online. The campaign would feature a diverse range of sustainable and eco-friendly influencers and activists while driving and increasing website traffic.
